Domestic Grain Supply

Rural Logic provides grain accumulation and logistics services for Australian domestic grain processors. Rural Logic contracts for the purchase and safe storage of commodities on behalf of the customer, pays the producer and then facilitates transport of the grain to meet end user or production requirements. The company provides grain grower contracts, cash buying, grower payments, contract grain storage, quality control and both land and sea logistics. Originally focused in Victoria, the business has grown to where grain purchasing and sales cover all Australian states, especially Tasmania, where Rural Logic plays a major role in supplying grain to all sectors of industry.

Export Market

For overseas clients Rural Logic offers the same commodity and grain supply channel. This can include contract growing, payment to farmers, quality control, storage and final delivery, with options applicable to the final delivery point either FOB or DCT. Regular pricing information can be provided to meet the customer's reporting requirements. Export sales and international relationships have been a natural extension of Rural Logic's business growth. Barley Malt sales to China and continuing expansion of our container trade have provided new market opportunities.
